ABOUT TRAVIS

Travis Williams’s passion for racing started at a very young age. His first race was an unsuspended Honda 70 three-wheeler at age five.

After achieving several wins and local championships in his younger years racing quads, Travis advanced to off-road desert racing in the Best In The Desert (BITD) and SCORE series

At 22, Travis served as navigator in a class 8 truck with veteran Jesse Jones while also driving portions of longer races. In 2018, he returned to driving, renting a Trophylite for the Mint 400. Despite limited seat time and a tough race day, he finished 5th in class. The team continued racing the BITD season, achieving multiple top 5 finishes, including a win and a second place.

After that, Travis bought that Trophylite and put together a team of his own for the 2019 season. They finished 1st or top 3 in every race they competed in this year, ending the season with the BITD and Trophylite championships.

The team then purchased a Geiser Brothers 6100 truck to race in the 2020 season. He finished off the first season in 6100 3rd in points as well as 4th overall in the Camburg Award standings.

The 2020-23 seasons proved very successful. In the first season racing SCORE, he had two podium finishes and finished 3rd place in TT Spec Points Championship.

2024 was unfortunately not as rewarding. After a year of injuries and a burned down truck, Travis and the team are rebuilding - mentally and physically - to make a full comeback in 2025.
